MARCH (MADNESS) SHOOT REPORT:

Before the start of the 300 round championship shoot, and after some discussion, it was agreed that handicaps would be based on the average of the four highest shoot scores.  However, it didn’t make any difference in the final outcome.  It was a very close contest, within one point, as shown in the results below. It would have been nice to have a few more competitors. Maybe next season we can work it out so more members participate.

Well, if all goes according to plan, our next shoot will be a field shoot on the outdoor range.  If the weather doesn’t cooperate, it has been suggested that we have a clay target shoot inside. Rules for the up and coming field season are included in the newsletter.

Please review them and have any comments prepared for the next meeting.

Results of the 300 Round Championship follows:

President’s message:

I urge all members to attend the Awards Banquet, if at all possible, and bring a relative or friend with you, too.  Also remember to bring something for the silent auction and bake sale.

Hope to see you at the Banquet!

It is with great sadness to tell you that Dozer got killed on the road.  He was a friend to everyone that came to his home at the farm.

I love that dog and miss him.                            Dan
